What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves to your browser. It can hold information like preferences or a unique ID. Some cookies are essential (the site won't work without them); some track you across the internet. Most websites use a lot of the second kind. We don't.
What we use
That's the entire list. One cookie, no tracking.
Third-party services we use
The website itself loads two external resources — neither of which sets tracking cookies, but both make some technical request to the third party when you load a page:
- Google Fonts — we load the "Inter" font from Google's CDN. When the font file loads, your IP address is briefly visible to Google. Google's privacy policy.
- Netlify — our hosting provider. They process form submissions and may keep server-side logs of requests for security purposes (DDoS prevention, etc.). They don't set cookies on this site. Netlify's privacy policy.
If we add other services in the future (e.g. a video player, analytics, payment provider), we'll update this page and ask for your consent where required.
Your choices
You can:
- Delete cookies — most browsers let you clear cookies in settings. Removing
ment8_consentjust means our banner reappears on next visit. - Block cookies entirely — your browser allows this. The site will still work; you'll just see the banner every time.
- Opt out of Google Fonts loading — most browser privacy extensions can block third-party requests. The site will fall back to a system font.
Changes
If we ever add analytics, marketing cookies, or anything that tracks you, we'll update this policy and re-ask for your consent.
